2018 Candidate Application Process

Congratulations on your decision to run for public office!

The Ventura County Women’s Political Council, an independent, multi-partisan organization dedicated to supporting pro-choice women candidates running for elected office, is accepting applications for consideration of endorsement in the November 6, 2018 general election.

VCWPC has adopted a new endorsement process for qualified candidates that consists of a candidate application, participation in a Candidate Town Hall Meeting, and a PAC recommendation for endorsement to the VCWPC Board. The board will vote on final endorsements following the Town Hall Meeting.

If you would like to be considered for endorsement, email your completed application to vcwpcpac@gmail.com no later than August 25, 2018.  The application may also be mailed to PO Box 6603, Ventura, CA 93006, but we highly recommend you email it.

If you are a first-time candidate running and seeking the organization’s endorsement, please fill out our VCWPC Candidate Application, scan it, and email it back to:  VCWPCouncil@gmail.com.

If you are an incumbent and would like to be considered for re-endorsement in the November 2018 election, please email your completed VCWPC Incumbent Endorsement Application as soon as possible.
